We designed the J&S Solutions subsill to meet the needs of the most challenging scenic door installation projects we’ve come up against while working in extreme condition regions like coastal Big Sur to the mountains above Carmel to the Tahoe Basin.
Nearly all window and door manufacturers require an installer to mechanically attach a door frame to the sill. The J&S Solutions Sub-Sill acts as a secure mounting system for the door frame that can be penetrated with screws, while allowing water to direct and drain to the sill pan without, ensuring extreme waterproof protection.
Our solution works in collaboration with your architect and general contractor to design a perfect installation clients can trust.

Uneven threshholds common in real-world door frame installations are easy to solve with the J&S Solutions adjustable shim system. For each 6-in. section of sub-sill, we provide 4 shims in the box, ensuring you’re ready to overcome any jobsite challenge.
